This is a good sign... If he has done anything wrong, he should be punished...There is nothing big in it... Also, the ministry should be ready to collect and publish the details of people who are having account in Swiss banks...
& untill Sonia & Sharad Pawar gives green signal, its difficult to put him behind the bars. After so many allegations he can still go to China, then there are very less chances to arrest him.

There are three categories of the politicians 1) Corrupt 2) Killer of the masses 3)Honest.
I think all the political parties have the combination of the three. Hanging should start from catg 2 to 1

Mr.Suresh.Kalmadi, Nobody is jealous of you, as you have not done anything extraordinary other than Looting.Good decision, please stay back in China and help India to reduce scams & corruption. You will indirectly help India by making China a more corrupt Country.

Guys, Suresh Kalmadi is either a serving or at least an Ex - MP. His arrest, maybe a good first step.
Let us assume the worst case scenario, he's arrested, kept in custody for a while, made a scapegoat for the larger CWG scam, much beyond his purview, then released on bail and the case drags on for a while.
At least it proves an MP / Ex - MP CAN be arrested. This itself is a good first step and will encourage ordinary citizens to file PILs & RTI applications against these corrupt & very powerful politicians.
I doubt, if with the exception of the honorable Fali Nariman, who finds the current PM worth revering, there are very many educated, intelligent Indians, who have an iota of faith in our political & executive machinery. The Judiciary was also following the same trajectory, under you know who's able leadership, thankfully, retirement intervened and we once again have the winds of honesty and uprightness blowing there.
I hope all the corrupt are booked & punished to the maximum extent possible under Indian law.

Wrong absolutely. he will not be arrested ,it will be a notiona larrest if any. The evening Kalmadi will develope Chaist Pain and get hospitalised to 5 star hospital. CBI and Doctors would ensure that he remains in there for what ever time required. thta the way we investigate. The currupion money is required for such contingency expeditures only so that every one can be bried to neck so no one feels left out of teh loot.
