Somdev is the finest sportsmen in India at the moment. He has killer instinct which Tendulkar, Ace shooters, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal and other top sportmen is India seriously lack.
All Indian sportsmen have a thing to learn from him.

The players you mentioned do have killer instinct, but problem is that as CWG and Asiad near to each other, some players lost their best form due to fatigue.

Another thing,in Tennis ,Chinese are not the world's top rank holders. But in shooting or Badminton asian countries including China holds the best ranks in the world. So,the competition is much tough.

For example,if Nadal or Federer was there it was not possible for Somdev to reach final even.

However,in the given situation,Somdev has given his best.It does not matter whether he had won US open or French open, however winning an Asiad gold medal is a matter of national proud.Somdev has put his all out effort, there for hats off to him..

Dont say Saina Nehwal does not have killer instict..we beat U.K in the medals tally bcos of her gold medal. And without anything u cannot become a Sachin, or Bindra or Narang, mind u. Agree that Sania is a hype at least at the world level tennis.
