Indian men’s team reaches Squash Semifinal. They defeated Saudi Arabia 3-0 and achieved a all win group record till now with one match remaining against Malaysia.Atleast a bronze is assured..
In canoeing the last placed in the heats are moved to semifinals. OINAM Jamesboy Singh came fourth in his heats. There are 6 players with better timing in finals. I gave up hope of a medal.
Winners should be given cash award. Gold - 1cr Silver - 75 lakhs bronze - 50 lakhs
When govt can spend so much money on other things, I do not see why it cannot encourage athletes who really need the money as they put everything in line. This will encourage them to win more medals.
