what a clumsy performance; shooters are a total flop; womens swimming, ooff, the less said the better. water polo, they are coming 5th in an event that has four teams; can you beat it??? hand ball, kicked in the butt by saudi arabia; hong kong has more gold that india; let all our 600 or so come back and save the tremendous ambarassment that they are causing india
It is pathetic to see many of our world champions flopping. Some of the bigger world champions like Anand, Paes, Koneru Humpy did not even care to participate. I think we will end at about 15th with only a single gold medal. What a shame.

That is true..even BCCI did not send cricket teams which could have fetched gold...
I expect gold in Wushu from Sandhyarani,Boxing_Marykom,Vijender,Suronjoy...in Kabbaddi,in atheletics 4 x 100 meters,hockey(??),Tintu Luka (800 meters),Pankaj in individual billiards,etc..
Atleast 10 gold medals are expected...
Unfortunately all our world champs like Gagan,Samaresh, etc are looking like kids..
Best performance was of Ashish Kumar to win a bronze in gymnastics and Khade a bronze in swimming...these are no mean achievement considering the way chinese, japanese and koreans are slaughtering all...

Anand plays only for himself (money fame etc.), he didn't play for country. Its OK, his personal vision, but he does not deserve any national award like Khel ratan, arjuna award etc.

at CWG it was no-competition except it was stiff competition who earns more money out of CWG scandal....Real competition level is either at OLYMPICS and then ASIAD games
