After that no-competition CWG games, india was hyped so much and people were boasting typical indian style saying india is world sport power.. now look at our standards at asian level where world powers like China, Korea, Japan are trashing us. Indians should realize reality and talk less. I think if we win 10 gold medals that will be enough for us. we should talk less and let the results speak for us.

So....you are going to compete and win a medal for India? All you are doing is again "talking"

A bit optimistic, isn't it ? I'm not sure about wushu but so far no Indian has done well in that . India against Japan on paper is a gross mismatch with Japan far superior , but then this is u23 and we have played decently so far so who knows ? Suronjoy is a definite contendor as is Sharath Kamal . Our chess players can look forward to at least a silver and a bronze if not better . Ashish was pathetic in the overall gymnastics today finishing 23rd out of 24 . DS Lilly has the talent and may get a medal but i heard that Thailand has some good players in this event . Still i like ur spirit ;)

A country like India where the politicians are involved in one scam after the other and where corruption is widespread can never be a match for a country like China which aspires to be the best. We live in an unethical and immoral society where making money and having a grand lifestyle are what matter. We don't have the hunger and the resolve to be better and stronger human beings.
in the CWG india won 38 gold metals for a total tally of 101 medals in the 12 day competition. here in the asiad by the end of the 3rd day, china has won a total of 92 medals topping the chart with 53 gold. with 12 days more to go, it seems china may win over 200 gold. is there such a vast difference between india & china( india considers itself to be an asian superpower). it is really shameful that by the end of the 3rd day india has a tally of 8 medals with only 1 gold .our much acclaimed shooters led by narang, bindra & tejaswani sawant proved to be flops. it appears these shooters participate & win in tournaments abroad where the chinese & koreans shooters are absent, and the media here flashes our shooters accomplishments, without trying to find out who & the quality of their opponents. this asiad has exposed our big mouthed shooters.similar is the case of saina nehwal.

That is the reality of Indian sport.Pure Hype by the media during CWG and now we see reality hits us.The same will happen in cricket soon
Indian Shooters seems to be happy with the cash awards they received for CWG medals! What else can be the justification that our shooters did not even qualify for the finals today!
our shooters were highly praised about their good performance in common wealth games where there was no tough competition but in asian games they have failed to win a single gold medal so far the failed where there is tough competition this shows where we actually stand in world rankings we make hell of a noise about our sportspersons achivement in games where there is no togh competition sports authority should give a serious thought to this
