rediff com & times now flashed the news that indian weightlifter srinivas rao has won the gold medal.it is to be perceived that when this rao could not win a gold in the CWG, how can he win in the Asiad where the competition is much-much tougher. in the end it proved to be a flash in the pan, & it was a chinese who won the gold with a world record. again a case of china beating us.

all are just copying the news from one another and reporting wrong news in this process at least check official website before reporting the news.

all the strong contenders are in group a while he has come first only in weak group b. There is only a remote chance of him winning bronze(that is too not possible according to me).

I am not sure as Japan,South Korea,Qatar and Yemen are strong contenders..still there is an outside chance..

I will tell you, Qatar is really a Good team in Football and If India win a Medal in Foot ball then That's really a Great and Biggest Achievement of Indian football Team

I considered Srinivas Rao gold..but I just re-confirmed IBN is wrong..he tops group B only till now..
