wrong news
by biswanath roy on Nov 13, 2010 04:49 PM

rediff com & times now flashed the news that indian weightlifter srinivas rao has won the gold medal.it is to be perceived that when this rao could not win a gold in the CWG, how can he win in the Asiad where the competition is much-much tougher. in the end it proved to be a flash in the pan, & it was a chinese who won the gold with a world record. again a case of china beating us.

all the strong contenders are in group a while he has come first only in weak group b. There is only a remote chance of him winning bronze(that is too not possible according to me).
