I was on mumbai airport last fortnight ven i saw mary searching for news reports the very next day she got sportswomen of the year.the trophy was in her hand but no one recognised her.only I and my friend went to congrats her........imagine wht would hve been the hype if a normal ranji cricketer was in her place.........thats the fate of world class atheletes in india
Defending champions Qatar were given an almighty fright by India today before sending them to the verge of elimination from the Asian Games tournament, with Bangladesh also looking at an early trip home.
India took the lead but the Qataris battled back to score twice in the last 10 minutes of their Group D game and secure a 2-1 win. It left the Indians with no points and virtually no hope of qualifying for the knockout rounds.
Marykom is a Sporting Legend - At the 1st Women World Boxing Championship, she picked up a Silver medal and thereafter 5 Gold Medals at every other Womens World Boxing Championships! Can any other Athlete meet this Standard? Very very difficult even in the years to come! And yet Mary is a very simple person.......... This Girl from Northeast proved herself on World stage and made India Proud. I hope her heroics will help other northeastern people living in North to be more proud of their Indianess. The racist behaviour they get from Northies or say any other part of India.People just simply tease them ,Got many Northeastern friend....they feel angered when people call then Chinese or Koreans. Our government is also not doing enough for Development of Northeastern States. We got such a Beautifull States and can be developed as Best tourist Destinations in India.

Delhi side barbarians have lack of civilisation,that is true and their disrespect antagonises southern,eastern and north eastern people.. Delhi people are enjoying life looting resources of hinterlands,unfortunately they did not learn culture till date...
