At least he made it to French Open mens singles after 13 years, one among 100 crore people.
We are proud of you Somdev. Keep it up and try to better this

so much for a gruelling 5-setter? wat did u expect? that he qualifies and wins the tournament? have u ever seen chiudinelli play- he's got a lot more talent than his current ranking suggests! i think it was a good match, and if nothing, somdev is at least a fighter!

you are saying this just because you are an Andhraite. You are bringing politics in this mate. I would have said the same about Sania Mirza if she was Sonia Singhal

Actually Anuj is right, Sania cant b put in the same league as the other two, she atleast consistently got qualified for the grand slams, and even reached upto quarters on one occasion. and yes i m only talking abt singles.

ok, i was wrong, it was 4th rnd and not qtrs. but thats not the point here. 4th round or qtrs does not take away her achievements at all. i am not even saying that Somdev can or will not achieve this, but look at this guys comment here - what if the other guy is an Andhraite or whatever

if any body frm our country is thrown out of any GS in 1st round its not his or her fault , you see that atleast he has reached at that level, and we shud appreciate that.
