glad that anand showing his seconds where they belong. by mentioning about legends like kaspy, kramnik he is puting down his seconds team to some extent.
It was nauseating to read all articles and all interviews with his wife aruna applauding the role of seconds in his victory. Can't she praise anand at least once for his win ??
you need some control in everything. too much is too bad. Being modern, posh, broadminded etc should be within a normal limit, beyond that it looks ugly.
Anand we true chess fans know that what you won is mostly due to your own abilities. the seconds, 5 minute pep talk by kaspy, a hasty analysis with them of few lines is nothing. we know how difficult chess is.
you cannot by heart chess moves and play. only opening prep can be done like that. In the middle game and end game you are on your own.
It is like thowing somebody in the middle of an ocean and he has to find his way to the treasure and/or shore and anand did it like a true LEGEND.

Despite winning the WC mosty due to your own abilities you still attribute it to others it is a magnanimous act by you ANAND, the TRUE HERO OF INDIAN SPORTS/GAMES.
Poor Anand, had to arrange for his own Championship preparations, getting help from chess experts, purchasing computer software, etc. The great Indian government did absolutely zilch. Why, it did not help even when Anand and his team got stranded in Germany and could not get to Sofia for the tournament. This is how callous our government is towards the achievements of Hindus. Tamilnadu govt did not even bother to send congratulations!!!

What do you expect from the Indian Government? I am not surprised. The Indian government always, always, always neglects and lets down the Indian citizens. The Indian passport is worthless and is actually a hindrance to foreign travel. If Anand had taken the Spanish citizenship, they would have helped him and also honored him for his victory.
