You are wrong. I am a big fan of Olympic games as well as Chess.. My view is only on the relative position of Chess compared to other games...You still did not get the point... I know NOT all can grasp high value statements. Thats why I have to drag, actress, sania, etc in my comments to make people like you to understand... Chess is still an ASS game..

U couldn't be more wrong. ASS is used to imply "no brain". Chessis a brain game & it seems its beyond your comprehension. In WWar 1 & 2, chess players were used to break encypted/ coded messages. So pl don't show your ass brain by airing such comments. Annand has doneus proud & achieved arguably what no other chess player has

because you do not understand anything about CHESS so naturally you say chess is ass game... for knowing chess you need brains, which you don't have...

HI DRU, your statement proves u r complete nuts.. u r saying all that just 2 grab attention.. Topa is one of all time greats, a former World champion and Anand has beaten Kramnik several times.... Kramnik is ranked below Anand, check it out from fide website.. higher fide ranking doesnt mean much, because Topa may be ranked higher than Anand but he got a thrashing by Anand in the most important match of Topa's life, the world championship match.. Dru, dont show your opinion if u know nothing or very little...

Anand's achievement offlate not very significant ones, his opponent was Tapalov, who is not the great. Anand ranks at 4 in FIDE rankings, and at present Kramnik is the best player for long time, after kasporov

Self descipline, motivation and will to win, and not money is the greatness and the difference between Vishy and Indian cricket team. Worse are the selectors and the politicians at the helm for wrong selection of team. Its high time they are shown the door.

Hello hello, hold on...chess is not cricket...we do not bother about the ASS game chess.. we bother about cheer leaders.. we enjoy those exciting games.. least bothered if you say brainless stupid. but the fact is a fact. we read this chess news like something like neighbor has given a birth to a baby boy. nothing more that. both news are same to us. here "us" does not mean just to me... to most of us. so he got world champion tropy..ok good for him, nothing more. dont try to equate something like cricket with ASS shifting game like chess...

Crazy people like u will go on worshipping worthless cricketers, despite failing to even reach semi finals of T20 world cup. This is despite the fact that cricket is a very low competitive game with only a few former British colonies playing it. Moreover even in many of them also Cricket is just one of the other games. Only in Indian sub continent people r cricket crazy.

Mr.obama: George Bernard Shaw has described cricket aptly. A game played by 22 flanneled fools and watched by (in India's case) 100 million lazy, worthless fools! Enjoy your cricket! Those cricketers, who are minting money in the name of IPL with scant respect for the country, are making a fool of the assless Indians (because, according to you, there is no need to shift your ASS while watching cricket!)

hello, do u live in 1920s..hmm..do u know India has got independance.. or u still read the old news papers..we are in NBA, 20-20 period..Shaw lived in Test match days.. if had watched cheer leaders in NBA and 20-20, he would have said something else..thats why i am filling his position now ;)..u can assume me as modern Geroge Bernard Shaw..

Well obama: If Bernard Shaw were alive today, he would have said: Cricket is a game played by 22 flanneled fools, watched by 100 million (mostly Indian) lazy, workless, worthless fools, drooling over bikini clad cheer leaders dancing away to glory - all for money! I hope you are satisfied now. For a change, why don't you move your ASS out of this forum! Of course, you would watch Sania, but not the graceful and magnificent Federer. That shows your class!

To all of you guys, first understand something, crystal clear. Actress (for that matter, all good looking women), Dynamic sports (cricket, football, NBA) all touch the Emotions of people (like me, like very many people). Reading news on Chess does not touch the emotions of the people... i dont say winning chess is Bad, but it is yet another fact like someone is constructing a road in the next city. ..hmm, it is good for those residents... for instance, Sania mirza would not have wond world cup, but it draw more attention, when i read news about her... if i get a two opportunity ...1. watching Sania loosing a game, 2, watching Anand winning a world cup.. i prefer the first ;) . thats the point...dont drag to something else..

Mr.Dhruva Kumar: The best player Kramnik does not even qualify to challenge Anand for the World Championship title. The world no.4 and no.5 qualify for the championship and Anand wins. That shows the high standards in Chess and also shows that there is very little to chose among the top 5. Your Indian cricketers are supposed to be no.1 in Tests, no.2 in ODIs, but finish woodenspooners in the T20 WC, that too among just 8 cricket playing nations. Chess is played by 100s and 100s all over the world. So, get your facts right before writing here!

Topa is no.2 makes it all the more creditable for Anand to have won. But, 1, 2 ... they are all numbers. In Tennis, Chess, Football etc. the standard is so high that on a given day anyone is capable of winning based on that day's form, unlike cricket where there are only 8 nations playing the game itself!
