In games 5, 6 and 7 Topalava was virtually snapping at the heels of Anand. It required all the defensive skills of Anand to hold on to his slender lead. He crumbled in the 8th game.Will Anand stage a comeback, as he did after the first game loss? One hopes so!
It was a draw position, but somehow he got pressurised for reasons that Anand even cannot justify. Unfortunately, he did not capitalise when he was playing back to back in white. He has to work very hard if he really wants to defend the title. All the very best for him
most of these classical matches goes on for atleast 4 hrs. the general public get bored and its better to keep some cheer leaders to ease the boredom,just as in ipl, basketball, american football,etc.

Anand will be playing with his white pieces on Game 9. The match is still open and can fluctuate anyway. Therefore, do not draw into conclusions. If he wins the Championship he is welcome, if not still he gets a greater welcome as remains to be greatest player and a better human being. No one can take that from us the respect he commands.
