Tell me when Rooney or Ronaldo has played against the best teams or in crunch matches? This year CL exit was unfortunate (due to poor referee)but was justice to what happened last year at Chelsea when Barca were definitely luck to go through. If you want proof of Messi's ability watch the Arsenal match (CL q'final) Do not talk write things that can not be backed up. He is the best player in the world and Barca one of the best club teams in current form. Real spend 200 million Euros and still are catching up with them. We all know in the last CL final when Man U did not have even a shot on target till the second half. Messi has to definitely prove his game in the world cup but so do Rooney and Ronaldo.
