Fedex purposefully did not fall to his knees – whereas he did in ALL previous 14 wins – out of respect for Andy. He rushed to the net to give Andy a hug, and even commiserated with Andy on knowing how difficult it is to lose a five setter in the finals, having lost two himself recently
It's all right. Fedex will make it count where it really matters, in the Grand Slams. He just likes to give false hope to others in these tournaments :-)

Federer is avoiding Nadal. In his bid to avoid a showdown with his nemesis, he is exiting early. Hopefully, he will demonstrate more guts in Miami.

@aishwarya patil -- so funny!!! I still wonder u say such silly things here again. I guess u r the one said after Federer's first round match in Australian Open that "it is not clear who will win the title, but it is clear who will not".

doesnt' actually matter...... federer performs at his best in the grand slams and thats what really matters!!!!!

Yeah. It is alright. Federer is recovering from a chest infection, and was not at his best in this tournament. See you in Miami.
