Karun Chandhok

Karun Chandhok is not going to survive for long in F1. He does not have the talent that top F1 drivers requires. He is in F1 only because he was able to get the Sponsor’s, not because of his talent.

Keep in mind that People always talk about his skills and ability rather than his performances and acheivments. That is the reason they put him there.

How immature of you to say that karun wont even last long in F1, do u even know how F1 operates or are u one of those who simply surf the channels and blurt out any comment they feel like for any other sport before going back to cricket. F1 Drivers test thier cars for 100's of kilometers before the come onto the track. Karun didnt even have a chance to do a lap of testing before he went in for the qualifying laps.So next time think before u speak.

Mr Gaurav,
I fully agree with you that F1 drivers do their winter testing before the actual season. If Karun was sensible, he should have waited for right opportunity rather than signing for team who didnt even had F1 cars which are made from carbon fiber and not metal. Shocking

He ll survive or not that time will say.. But without talent no one reaches formula 1. It's not a small sport. And about sponsors, driver like Lopez had even bigger backing from You Tube of about 12 million Euros, but Karun got a chance with 5 Million Euros. Certainly Campos and Colles saw something in him and new market for F1 in the form of India that they gave him a chance. But i agree, it's not an ideal situation for him to survive..
