i hoped he would be able to finish off on a high with tha national team at the wc for one last time, this is why he took so trouble to move to ac milan from mls , got so much flak, proved he is still good, and now this...very very unfortunate!

dude you have to come off your high horse and learn to first comprehend sentences .... it was his dream to be part of the england world cup team , for which he tried his very best to break the celebrity shackles which was ruining his real football reputation , he worked hard for it , proved to the coaches hes good enough for re consideration purely based on his football skills.... you are talking to someone who not only follows football passionately but is actively involved in sports... irrespective of what you or i think if they are striving for glory and working hard for it , all power to them. personally am not a fan of english football anyway , i have different ideas and more inclined towards different style of the game
