Where are those self appointed specialists who accused the IPL organisers, the Government and the owners of the teams too that they were leaving Pakistani cricketers deliberately! Oh poor Paki cricketers! These guys wanted an explanation from the IPL team owners why Shahid Afridi wasnt taken!!! Yeah, he should be taken for his expertise on biting the ball!!! So what if he and many others of his team are either fined or accused of ball tampering or match fixing! After all they are muslims, and we have to support such people so that some others praise our "secularism" isnt it!?!!
The balance of power in hockey has shifted from Asia to Europe. It will take a very long time, maybe a generation, and that too if hockey attains even one-fourth the popularity of cricket in the subcontinent.

Long Time for Asian teams to catch up with european ones and pose a serious challenge to them. It took quite some time for India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka to come upto top class standards in cricket. Why not in hockey? Investing time, effort & of course money, may yield results in the later years.
