So India finish with 4 points. And they'll play for 7-8 position.

Indian Hockey

Even before the World Cup tournament started, I predicted that the Indian team will come out as utter losers.
Since 1975, our hockey players have been worthless and they will continue to be worthless as long as they play only for individual glory.
I doubt they will win the next match against South Africa. Our players didn't deserve to be in the World Cup.

India and namesake country lost due to high security
by Think Tank on Mar 08, 2010 04:32 AM

Both India and Namesake country lost their matches due to high security and extremitism.

On the back of their mind was attack, personal security and high expectations from home crowd.

Not sure where to find Total Hockey for Indian Hockey?

Many questions:
1) Where are players like Jugraj Singh, Gagan Ajit Singh?

2) How long India can continue with typical 4/4/3 structure?

3) How to beat EU and Aussies rather than beating Namesake country?

4) If it was Indian coach, had he been sacked?

By intriducing 20-20, Modi claims he brought people back to the stand and rewrote cricket saga. Hand over Hockey to him, he may introduce 5-day Hockey tests and revive Hockey in Asia.
