Lack of professionalism
by venkat kumar on Mar 08, 2010 01:53 AM

They simply lack the resources, equipments and coaching that is needed to excel in the professional level sports. Add mis-management and politics on top of it. In tennis, they have absolutely no real role models. What has Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupati achieved that they romp around like versions of Roger Federer ?

Cricket - First round losers in ICC CT 2005, WC 2007, T20 WC 2008, ICC CT 2009. Has won only one major championship(T20 WC 2007) and failed in all major championships. Only good in bi-lateral series played at home which are manipulated by BCCI to suit interests of fraud consumer companies.

Tennis - Kicked out by Russia.

Hockey- Kicked out of World cup.

My dear friend Shrikant, Indians are fked. They cannot be expected to compete at international level. I know there will be few idiots asking me what I have done in my life but they should know that that I am the one who is standing in front of all those idiots in open source.

Sukhwinder Singh,
Have you heard of a guy called Vishwanathan Anand. Is he a sradarji like you? Surely not a dumbhead like you. He did not win an Olympic gold but is No.1 in a game played by almost every country in the world. By the way which Sardarji has won a Gold: except for Milkha Singh who finished a poor fourth? Go beyond regionalism sir. It is because of guys like you India does not win as a team.

At least I don't use abusive language. I am not against any religion/region but I don't think Chess is Olympics Sport.
Abhinav Bindra recently won Gold Medal in Olympics.

I didn't want to insult anyone. Sorry if I hurt anyone but I was talking about all of us Indians (and that includes me).

But things are improving a little. At least 3 medals last time.

Why India gets thrashed in Every Sports.?

May be it is due to dietary reasons. Indians do not eat meat which costs them dearly in Power Sports

Yes these people cannot be expected to compete. Only two persons who ever competed in last 15 years were Mahesh and Leander.
