Get out of this racist mentality. There is no rule that Force India should have Indian driver and Team Hispania should have Spanish driver. Sports is beyond race, region and ethnicity. It is about winning.

Sports is not about winning, its about competing to the best of your ability. Only one in a thousand can win.
Force India gets so much sponsorship from Indian companies which means its run with Indian money. So why not have an indian driver drive it as well.
the media was flashing the breaking news today evening about chandok securing a F1 drive.earlier karthikeyan had also raced in F1, but his team kept him on the sidelines for many years before giving him a chance.karthikeyan anyday is a better driver than chandok. i have a feeling that chandok will be removing and fixing the wheels when the team's car comes to the pit, for his initial years. why are we so enamoured with tiny recognition from the whites, it is really stinking this inferiority complex of ours.
Now we can start reaping the results at a global level. First Karthikeyan, now Chandok and then Armaan Ebrahim hopefully soon. Who knows we can produce the next Schumi soon :)
'He won 2 races in GP2 in the last three years' ... it means he's not the best driver out there, he's got into formula 1 due to lots of financial backing, but he's got to prove..
All the best to Karun and his team HRT (Campos Meta)... It's even better to be in F1 with a known team mate Bruno Senna (His GP2 team mate in 2007).. But the real question is whether it was a gud decision to be in a team with Financial problems and didn't even test its car on Jerez and Barcelona tracks.?? The new teams Lotus and Virgin are already 4 - 6 Secs off the pace, but atleast they know where they are in pack.. Nevertheless, i ll support Karun Chandhok on and off the track.

If he was in Punjab, he would have been driving Taxi. It's Chennai and its facilities which puts him in F1 race.

Hello Mr.cmm,
If you think force india is a failure than I'm starting to doubt your knowledge about F1...If u do see since the last 2 years Force India has been the only team which defines consistency in improving and did u forget that the team and the drivers of Force India were in the midst of points in 2009. So please don't judge people by what u think...look in to the facts too....
P.S: It took Ferrari 21 years to win another WDC(World Driver's Championship) before Schumi won it in 2000.
So don't call somebody a failure just for the heck of saying it.

It's not all about showing patriotism buddy. This the sport with involves business 7 entertainment together. You can not attract sponsors then u can surely pack ur bags end of the season. The drivers are choosen on basis of talent & the money he can get along.
I hope you know the difference between 1 to 3 secs, that is the gap between 1st car & 20th car on the grid. The viewer ship in India is growing but not as big as racing countries like Italy, Spain, Brazil and Germany. You get a driver of these countries then u would attract sponsors who inturn will get money that is required to keep ur self alive. This is very expensive sport as well.
Next time u do understand what goes behinde a sport then u comment buddy. :)
