For Indian team its do or die time. They have to win today for the contention for semifinal. after winning against Pakistan lots of financial incentives are also to the team players, which they are deprived uptill now.Lets hope for the best, my best wishes to the indian team. chak de india.
This hockey team definitely looks improved from what I saw previously. The passes and goal conversion rates are very good. However they need to add power and pace to their play to beat world class teams like Australia, Holland and Germany.

Yes..One think I see here a constraint : Our physical abilities: Do Indians are ,by default, structured physically which is no match for Europeans?Is that what is preventing them from keeping the pace with them?

Yes you are right. Physically we are not fit enough. The game has become more of power oriented than skill oriented which has led to India's downfall in hockey

our hockey player cant even arrange for 2 time good food and we want them to beat European teams ?
Shame on us to expect this ... first feed our children balanced food then expect them to compete with world.
India is lowest ranked team in this WC. Each victory of India is an upset of the tournament. India has already upset Pakistan.
As being India fan I am enjoying each victory of India without thinking about semifinal. If India finishes 3rd in his group, it will be a good achievement.

Agreed India is in WC just because it the host. probably with the kind of hockey other teams are playing i don't see India will qualify even for the next World cup

Upset or downset win is a win, if its so then why to play world cup, just give worldcup by calculating ranking in other matches.
