What is the motivation of this fellow Read?
by Talisman on Mar 02, 2010 12:33 AM

The coach is clearly asking FIH to prove their motivation is right. He is asking why pick on a match that was very clean and played in good spirits than the more physical matches between the aussies and english. hockey fans expect FIH to provide an answer.

There must be a process followed including on-field umpires filing a report, if they felt there is a violation. It cannot be because of an official that arbitrarily picks on a team or a match. If you apply the same principles, ban the same number of players from other matches too.

I watched the match - it was a follow through and not deliberate
by Talisman on Mar 01, 2010 10:25 PM  | Hide replies

India has nothing to hide here. I watched it and the entire game was played in good spirits. The fact that some FIH official tries to pressure india shows there is something else going on.

FIH should be asked to show their evidence and the reports fromt he match referees. Did the referees think that there was a real issue here.

Or is it the handy work of someone at FIH that can arbitrarily decide who gets to play and who doesnt?

Never mind. This is the handywork of a self-righteous Aussie that wants to make sure his team wins.

The match was played in good spirits and except for this Aussie that wants to see it in a different light. He is bound to look the entire match and he will see that the same player and everyone else have played a clean hickey match.

Now, we know how aussies win 72% of their matches using every trick in the book - true to their style.

This Reed guy is a crook.

no use appealing.could have saved the 600euros.we all know the decison of the appeals commitee.even if the replay will show it was not a deliberate act the officials sitting on their fat butts will remain unmoved.
