Congrats to the Indian hockey team for their excellent showing against Pakistan. Apart from the players, I think coach Brasa also deserves due praise for the way he has groomed this team. Anyway, our team needs to now be fully focussed on the match against Australia. We need to convert our field goal scoring chances too since we missed quite a few yesterday and can ill-afford that against the Aussies. Charles Farias Muscat, Oman

Realistically a hockey player has to run on an average 7-8 kms in 70 minutes, it is the fastest game played on earth. A real test of physical and mental fitness.

I agree 100% with you. Cricket is boring and monotonous and takes days at times without a result. Hockey is exciting, fast and quick just like football. Hope all Indians wake up to this truly international sport and sepnd more time on sports other than cricket which is not even an Olympic sport!!
