I was fortunate to see an exiticing match yesterday. It was as exciting as any International Football Match..

India should go all out with attacking style to win agaist Australia.

Winning a match against Australia (Cricket or Hockey) is as enjoyable as agaist Pakistan

Chak de Hockey... Chak De India

Congrats to the Indian hockey team for their excellent showing against Pakistan. Apart from the players, I think coach Brasa also deserves due praise for the way he has groomed this team.
Anyway, our team needs to now be fully focussed on the match against Australia. We need to convert our field goal scoring chances too since we missed quite a few yesterday and can ill-afford that against the Aussies.

audience??
by Bhoot Nath on Mar 01, 2010 06:19 PM  | Hide replies

Nearly 100 countries play hockey and football, 6 countries play cricket.

People who have nothing to do in life watch cricket and waste their valualble non refundable life and time.

Realistically a hockey player has to run on an average 7-8 kms in 70 minutes, it is the fastest game played on earth. A real test of physical and mental fitness.

I agree 100% with you. Cricket is boring and monotonous and takes days at times without a result. Hockey is exciting, fast and quick just like football. Hope all Indians wake up to this truly international sport and sepnd more time on sports other than cricket which is not even an Olympic sport!!

that is why you missed something spectacular on Sunday night

it was like the 175 made by Kapil Paaji which has no evidence but only the stats. and those who saw that day still boast of it
