Aussies - quit complaining
by Talisman on Mar 02, 2010 12:23 AM

Aussies ran out of ideas. Sure. Everyone else sees the video system as fair. Not the Aussies. They can't get the freebies that they can get without the video referal system.

I cannot wait for Basra and his team to put this Aussies out of the tournament.

what can we do?

"The umpires made lots of decisions against us and the video referral decisions went against us. It happened in the Champions Trophy [ Images ] in Australia last year also. But it is the system here, what can we do?"

If umpires made wrong decisions, they should have been refered, the system is in place to help teams that are suffering due to incorrect decisions by unpires.

If video decisions went against your team, then it is more likely than not, that what you percieved about the incedent is incorrect. You still have a chance to make noise, if you watch the replays and still found the decisions were incorrect. If the system is failing to do justice and does not help kepping the play fair, you can voice against it as a coach of world class team.

If it has happened in Champions trophy and in world cup also, it is quite likely that you have not upgraded yourself to the system and are still trying to play same old tricks and get away with the fouls commited. And if it is repeating tournament after tournament, be prepared for this to happen even in the future.

If you dont like the system you have a choice of quitting the game. Before doing that, try playing fair game and stop relying on incorrect decisions by on files referees and see if you can get along with it.

It is similar to the Buckner Test. If there was referral and his decisions were overruled, Australians would have cried like this. They would have said they lost the Test because of referral system. Whether it is cricket or hockey, Australia still gets the benefit of onfield decisions.
