“So relieved” that Spain scraped past dangerous Portugal but was really disappointed with their display…..!!! It’s as if Spanish strikers were playing with ghosts & were afraid 2 take shots at the Portuguese goal!!! After all that 60% of ball possession n play making skills, they were not able 2 really penetrate d defense n were awfully shy at d last step. In fact Portuguese were really g8 with their counter attacks n were unlucky … Hoping n praying 4 a better striking power fm Torres, Villa n Co. against Paraguay
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most selfish player of this tournament, he tries to make extra ordinary goals from long distances and dont consider or give importance to his team mates which is the major reason for their lost. He should learn to play as a team from Messi or some of the German Players where they are not after getting self goals but to get team uplift

Paraguay was very lucky against Japan yesterday. If they play like that Spain will win by a tennis score..Paraguay strikers miss the target so often..
every state can open a school admitting atleast 256 students at the age of 11. 8 classes each class not more than 32 students. the students to be given the best quality food, medical attendence, care, education in physical culture and academic education upto Plus 2 or intermediate and ofcourse in coached in foot ball by experts. every year the best 32 among the will be transferred to the "call it first or "A"" section. and given further added coaching and practice. at the end of 7 years each state will have around at 32 fresh but well trained and fit boys to take up professional career in football. there should be improvement in the standard of the game thereafter in the country. .

first introduce football in all the schools of villages and cities. stop treating cricketers like demi gods only then we can excel in other sports

preparation for winning top level international tournaments is different from providing sports facility to all the students. but the process blends and merges after some years.

first ask Doordrashan (DD)to telecast the games atleast .!Common rural people should learn foot ball .Not the lazy metro bumps

After that, what? Railways, Punjab Police or some other Govt.organizations will give them white collar jobs. These guys will stop working on their football skills and start criticizing cricketers, resulting in failure. The real improvement could only come if our society stops accepting mediocrity.
Who discovered India, Spain or Portugal.Columbus from Spain instead of heading to India reached America whereas the Portugese Vasco De Gama discovered India.So is the case now.Spain & Portugal both played well but Spain reached in Semi-Final ousting Portugal.This is the game -where one is to win and the other is to loose.But no one is Winner or Looser,.It is the Game that they Played and we enjoyed a Good Match.Congratulations to Both.

Sachin Tendulkar is the not the greatest athlete you fool, Nadal and Usain Bolt are the greatest athlete. sachin is your god not mine. Saina Nehwal is my inspiration. She is a much better athlete than any of these cricketers.

Are you out of your mind? Its like comparing totally irrelevant things. BTW the fitness level of any footballer at international level is way ahead of the fittest cricket player. Check out their exercise/fitness schedule in Google before even trying to compare.

every one loves Argentina, but do not underestimathe the German armada, they have plans to de-code messi and co.. secret plans..
No doubt Spain is the only European nation other than Germany who has been face saving for Europe. They are lucky to have an easy quarter-final. Will reach semis for sure. The real test begins from semis.

Now we can NO more see Magic of ch.Ronaldo. ( world's costliest Player) Next World cup is far away. Only Euro 2012 we can watch him playing. In India Portugal has more supportes than spain.( Goa specially ). All their hopes dashed. Even though Spain Was slightly better side, every one in India wanted Porto to win , coz of Ronaldo, Ronaldo Vs Messi would have been cracker in Semi- Final. But, It's all gone now !!!!
