WC

The WC discussion on this board is lively. I expect some more analytical comments. As per my observation:
Countries whose majority of players play throughout the year for clubs in league matches do not perform well.May be after 4 years they see a team mate closing on him, their subconcious mind triggers that closing in player is of rival club.
Higher % of ball possession need not necessarily an indicator of better play or a winning team. It may also indicate safe defensive play without any attempt to take risk and penetrate the rival camp.

2010 winner is going to be a latin american country and most likely Paraguay might win.
Hard to accept for so many footies but this is wat going to happen. The much hyped teams will lose and the underdogs Paraguay will lift the trophy.
So the Model's wishes will be fulfilled.

the Paraguyans themselves don't believe that they will lift the world cup..they beat Japan only on penalty shoot out. for the full 120 minutes they could not score a single goal..

Dude, check the history before commenting, during those days, there were no QFs, after group matches, it was directly SF.

your "gyan" about football is not proper. Ghana and Germany are in different halves of the draw, so is Paraguay and Netherlands....so they cannot meet in the semi finals.

spain got an offside goal yesterday... and they played poorly against swiss in their opening match... so i wont bet on Spain except for David villa who is scoring goals for fun:-)

Hello Dude.....Nobody can control Villa.....its a perfect on-side goal....not even a single chance of thinking abt off-side..... he was clearly on-line with the defender and then on behind the ball...

and yes only villa is scoring, but don't forget the amazing support from Xavi, inesta,Ramos and torres.....Don't you see the beacutiful pass by Xavi behind yesterday's Villa's goal?....

Its complete Team effort and of-course Villa is more powerful too... Come-on Spain.....We love to see you lifting the Trophy.....

Dude.. David Villa was not offside. He was on line with one of the defenders when the ball was passed and it is only the 1st touch that matters in the offside rule.
