Mr.President Please takeover as Chairman of BCCI and suspend the team for 4 years. Please take necessary actions to thrash all the money making goons and clean the entire system. In this 4 years, please see that no match will be played by team and entire system is refurbished. We want leaders like you.
It is an over reaction. The team did not play too badly. Drew against South Korea and lost a close match to Greece. The loss to Argentina was expected. They also reached the African Nations Cup semi finals. They need to have some patience.

they are all good teams and one can win the trophy. even North Korea is a good team, but some days, things will not work
An excellent excuse to this Badluck Jack to conceal the fact that the country doesnt have enough in the coffers to support the national team for international events.
This is what happens when too much emotion is invested into sports. African football can ill afford such a decision. For the most part, there are multiple teams for any sport within a country (junior, senior, men, women). Suspending international teams in a country across the board is like punishing those who love the game but have nothing to do with the debacle.
2 years of international exposure would entail a lot to loss for any sport in any country.
Any sport has a winner and loser,one should not worry about losing and continue playing. How best you perform matters, and not winning or losing. That is a bad decesion, with the president showing emotion,which is not very good.
Expect to hear the exact same thing from Congress Govt and Congress owned sports Ministers. These Congress politicians know only to secure their and their families future, and when sportspersons will fail, crocodile tears will be shed and blame will fall with organizers and sports stars.
