Why do these technophobes think the human element is out with the introduction of video analysis. Have the infrared cameras and video replays taken out the human element in tennis or cricket?
In fact, more people have started walking in cricket (after being out) than ever because they know they would be caught on the big screen lying.
FIFA is hypocritical when it says it does not want to rely on video cameras for any decision-making. Have they forgotten that the referee had NOT EVEN SEEN the Zidane headbutt against Matterazzi in last 2006, until the video cameras finally showed the replays.
It was only then that the referee decided to red card Zidane. So, the video-based decision-making is already there along with the human element.

ask sachin tendulkar to remove the helmet, and remove the rules of the bouncers restrictions and ask sachin to play the game like a man as it was done in the 70's. Nowadays cricket is like video game with so many restrictions and easy . It has become a feminine version of the cricket palyed till the 70's. No quality bolwers are there. I find Sachin is just lucky to play the easier version of the game.And off late forthe last two years he is scoring in vital matches,beforethat so many flops during big occasions esp[ecially in the previous world cup. So dont try to hype his greatness. Of course he is a great player no doubt but not the best of all. No way. He is way behind so many cricket legends. We will know his performance in the next world cup. tillthem keep quiet
