I really admire the passion of Maradona, the way he is motivating his team to excell. I can compare Sourav Ganguly to him and wish for the day when Sourav will either become India's coach or BCCI President

bad comparison. nobody knows ganguly. he will be lost in the dustbin of history. only a handful who watch the internationally unknown game; cricket, will probably. maradona will live forever.

You are 100% right. Its difficult to replace Ganguly. Everybody has his/her pros/cons. But his pro's are admirable. Exellent leadership!

This German team (2010 WC squad) cant be termed as chokers, cuz the outfit is not strong at all. Somehow together they are able to make it all happen, nonetheless.
India should learn from Germany to make maximum use of its resources.

haha! great comparison, just yesterday i was telling a friend of mine how similar are england & india in the manner in which we approach our national pastimes (sport). we both think that on paper nobody can beat us (england about their football team & us about our cricket team), and everytime the teams go to the big stage, we think no end of them, showering praises and anticipate their return with glory... and this adulation is compounded by attractive leagues (epl in their case & ipl in our case).... however we end up making pathetic asses of ourselves when it should matter....
