Sponsors are there to make money. Hardly anyone watches badminton in India. Why would a sponsor spend money on a sport that does not have much following in India?
Thank you Saina...You made India proud. Also pray God. It'll definitely help you. WISH YOU THAT YOU WILL DEFINITELY REACH WORLD NO 1. Thanks once again. Way to Saina !

Badminton players in China enjoy rock star status in China. Besides that, badminton is very difficult to play and win...more so than tennis. There are many tennis players who are successful only because they have a fast serve and not much of stroke making. Tennis does not necessarily need lot of skill. That aside, I like Sania Mirza for her physical appearance than her tennis. She is a very average tennis player.

Even if Badminton is not competitive , to become world number 3 is no mean task. Instead of applauding her , you are commenting on her dedication and hard work, then go and play Badminton my dear which is not competitive in your view. You can easily become World no 1
You have proved that if Indians have the will to win then they will get the winning gene. It is possible for us to be the world beaters. Thanks for proving it. Bravo.
