It's a case of poetic justice. In 1966 World Cup Final between England and West Germany, England was benefited from a goal awarded to them by Referee which WAS NEVER A GOAL. And today, England was not awarded a goal WHICH WAS A VERY MUCH LEGITIMATE GOAL!

THE GOD OF THE GREAT GAME THUS RECTIFIED HIS OWN MISTAKE COMMITTED 44 YEARS BACK!!! A FULL CYCLE HAS THUS BEEN COMPLETED.

ENGLAND'S DENIED GOAL..

It was really heartbreaking to see Englands fantastic goal by Lambard denied the the Uruguayan referee. The goal was well over the goal line. Really shocking to see these things in a world cup match. That goal might have changed the course of the game. Like in cricket the need for a third Referee has become inevitable.

This raises the question of human error which was satisfactorily solved in Cricket in run outs.Otherwise the umpires and referees can play hayware and change the outcome of the match which may be fixed by them as well

What is your problem with England? They were well on way of recovery till the blind referee could not see what was seen by whloe world & also by German goalkeeper who went inside the goalpost to collect the ball. The equaliser would have confused germans who otherwise were playing attacking gootball.
