Nadal and gamemanship

Its all look funny when we heard comments from players "the break has disturbed my concentration/rhythm". Loser only complain about it. Doesn't it.

Its the same for both players. Every player has right to take an injury break. There is no way you conclude he is faking. But the fact is, break is break for both. Its not one players concentration/rhythm that breaks and other holds. If we one can't hold his concentration for extra 10-15 mins at this level, do we deserve to win!!.

Nadal winning the winbledom this year is an other issue which we need to wait and watch.

When champions like boris becker is accusing nadal of 'clever tactics' then there might be some substance. Momentum in any sport is significant. Nadal repeated took time outs and that does upset the momentum. We all know that. If Nadal s movement was as good before and after the treatment then he could have done without it. That is the general Feeling. He he... already nadal backers are nowhere to be seen. yeah 'nadal winning wimbledon' will always be an issue. I think he can start his season from monte carlo and end it at the french open. Nice try! Dont even bother watching. I am telling you - if nadal makes it past Paul Henri Mathieu, everyone in his part of teh draw will murder him..! I am sure he will pull out like he did in australia. Murray or soderling may not be so forgiving like Petzschner.

What is it this time? Knees, arm, coaching... what s the excuse this time? this man sure is a champion when fit. I won't argue on that. But he is hardly fit for 6 months in a row. At oz open he retired with knee problems down 2 sets against andy murray. Now when he was pushed to two five setters back to back, the injury kicks in. End of oz open to now is not even 6 complete months. But for the dominant clay season, he has no business or right to be a so-called-world-number-1. Mark my words. He will be the proverbial perennial 'man with the weak knees'. Maybe, just maybe, if he turns up straight at the US open 2011 skipping everything in between, he might make it to the finals and lose. No freaking way he ever defends ANY slam except french. he was, he is and he will always be 'the greatest clay courter'. No more! Aish Patil and other suckers can hide their face now... u nadal backers (losers) pointed out nadal s injuries in 2009 for the chief reason behind Federer's so called 'accidental' french open win in 2009. Dont forget federer has a more genuine reason behind his mono nucleosis bout in 08 behind his losses. At least federer takes it on the chin and doesnt give 'lame' (read wobbly knees) excuses... NY times and Boris Becker and also Petzschner have all strongly condemned nadal s 'gamesmanship' - clever timely time outs to break the german s rhythm. Cheap dirty and downright Lame!!!! LAME... i hope Paul Henri Mathieu takes him to 5 sets and loses..

A hard fought win always give the extra mental toughness than easy wins.
Only injury can make him a poor tennis player and not that much a bad player as could be read from your post.
But a confident Federer and Nadal finals would be the best and I wish Federer to win.

I am not saying "nadal is a bad player". Many people accused him of "clever tactics" after that Petzschner match including boris becker. If you play you dont complain about it and if u are injured u dont play. I am constantly wondering how and why this knee/arm/something keeps coming up whenever he is close to losing! If he is tired why doesnt he go home and play some golf? Players like Robin Haase and Petzschner pushing nadal to two consecutive 5 setters in the first week of a slam means only one thing! Nadal is not fit or 100%. Or maybe the game has gone a step further. My post had a lot of facts. He hasnt defended any slam except at french open. May be he is the best clay courter after all and nothing more. Unlike what the nadal backers say - he has a lot to prove. If his injuries come up again at the US open i'm sure "nadal is only 23 he will win many more slams" argument would be put to sleep. He will win some french opens maybe! I would love to see nadal play someone else in the finals than federer and see how he does. Forget french open where he is the ultimate. No doubt he is. I think nadal already reached the one slam finals he was due this season and he won it. How i wish Murray or Soderling reach the finals. I want one of the Andys to win. Be it roddick or murray. But yeah federer has an incredible chance. He certainly has the toughest draw unlike what people predicted before. anyone who

No matter what, he is going to win, even if he has to play 4 more 5 setters.

nice try!! we all know very well he will lose!! If he doesnt lose to Paul Henri Mathieu, which i dont think he will, he will lose to Soderling. If he somehow manages to beat Robin Soderling then he will go out against Murray! An Andy Murray Andy Roddick Finals would be fantastic.
