Forget India as a whole. Just consider the states of West Bengal, Kerala and Goa alone where soccer is played in leagues like crazy with fans showing more interest than US fans in their soccer leagues,. Each state has a population greater than some European countries. I wonder why those two states alone can't produce some world class player while being footballmaniac.
Create our own team first & cheer for them. Doosron ke Tawe pe apni lal karna .......

I wonder whether you even know what you are talking dude.. You want those states to produce world class players? why dont you talk about the hockey scenario. the worlds second largest population cannot produce a good side inspite of it being the national game and having support much much greater than that of football. And trust me in case the whole world played cricket, i wouldnt be surprised if india stood no where on the international scenario!!! Only 12-14 countries play cricket!!! every country in the world plays football. Its difficult producing world class players from three states in a sport where there is competition from the whole world; when India struggles to produce world class cricketers inspite of having support from all states and having only 14 countries to compete against. So think before you comment dude!!!
