Beat a world champion, win 2 tournaments, be a top 5 player in the world..but still no mention in media...! Talk about skirts, lose everytime in round 1, issue controversial statements, put ur legs near the Indian tricolor, ditch ur own counrtymen..and u hog all the limelight...shame on Indian media and rediff as well..!!!

You are absolutely right. We have become a society of cynic to eulogize those who don't even worth a single line of mention and remain silent on the deserving.
She won the Singapore opens recently...a great achievement by any standard. Am apalled by the lack of news space...won't be surprised if most people are wondering who the "She" is.

In fact this has happened with many deserving sportpersons in India. No wonder why our hockey Olympians were forced to sell their gold medals..like beggars..!!!

Dear Rediff, What do you mean my Tennis Ace? Did ever Sania entered 3rd round of any grand slam(otehr than once)in singles? If she was in ranks of 30s as claime, she should have easily entered in many qurter finals of GSs. Why it did not happen?

in wta and ATP no matter what country you represent .it is a professional circuit based on individuals it is up to you whether you like to see sania as an Indian or porki any way this epic was one day wonder and it is all over
