if you cannot curve aball, how the hell are you going to curve those awesome banana kicks. the ball simply wont move that way. you cannot get even a machine to work that precise. nearly all the goals were from close range, very few long shots - there absolutely no fun watching this world cup. only vuvuzela is worse.
basically fifa sucks, for introducing the ball during the worldcup and not having tested it extensively.
All teams have been given the same type of ball to play with. Whether the problem is the altitude or otherwise, these players of repute should be able to deliver their best in the world cup. According to the FIFA and Adidas website, the Jabulani ball has met all standards laid down by FIFA including weight and bounce.
The low scores could be due because with the latest advancement is training, teams may be of similar calibre and the game at this level is highly competitive.

ok. so what ? its the fifas responsibility to fix the issue. the ball wasnt tested enough - this world cup is already a disaster - no banana shots, no curves, no long shot, just players laboring on

i have played soccer at college level, and also watched soccer matches live in goa and other places. yes, the noise is part of the ambience. i have been wtaching soccer for decades now. but i have never felt that the noise is "noisy" vuvuzelas are definetely not pleasant. you cannot hear the commentary, wtf?
this is not cricket, but one needs to have a balance. imagine how the players feel if they cannot hear another team- mates call. have YOU played soccer ? dont you know how important it is to hear another team mate while the game is on ?

Yes, these high-altitude venues must be making the difference.Jabulani is just flying too high.
Vuvuzela is set to generate $1 million in revenue for local industry. But I am sure this should be discontinued in future world cups-high nuisance value, absolutely no sound of crowd cheering is audible.
