by om shanti on Jun 21, 2010 04:50 PM  | Hide replies

It is great that 5 Indians have reached doubles man's draw. They are Leander,Mahesh,Amritraj,Bopanna and Somdev.Indians have become habituated of winning doubles/mixed doubles crowns. It shows that Indian can gel well with their foreign partners.Indian tennis has made great stride and hopefully we will witness supelative performance in singles events as well in the future.

Much better than the hyped up world cup!
by sandeep kumar on Jun 21, 2010 04:48 PM  | Hide replies

The world cup was hyped enormously, but the results so far has been dull, one sided, and hardly any creativity from the so called major sides(holland, england, spain etc). Not just me but most of my friends say that EPL has far more entertainment. However, wimbledon rocks and it should be a pleasure to see nadal, federer, roddick play next 2 wks.

Federer vs Soderling final can expected, considering both the players form.

Federer

It will be very inetresting to see how federer does at wimbledon this year. An average showing at the French open and a shock loss to hewitt at a grass court warm up tourney shows he is perhaps not at his best. But then it's wimbledon and federers amazing record here sspeaks for itself.
