What's the timing?
by naveen dhanerwal on Jun 21, 2010 02:12 PM

Could anybody please tell me at what time the match will be played?
I have checked wimbledon site and there it's 13:00. I just wonder if it's 1 pm according to Indian time then there is no match in progress.

Ya i agree, Nadal who has won '1' Hard Court and '1' grass court grand slam is definitely better than Federer who has won only 9 hard court and only 6 grass court Slams

Yes. You are right Mr. Deepak. We tend to judge the players out of emotions.
We think Nadal is bettet than Federer because recently he won many titles on clay. Except clay, I think Federer has consistently beaten Nadal onother surfaces (excl.2008 wimblen final). As wimbledon is played on grass, Federer should be the firm favourite. Look at his record on grass, he has lost only two matches on grass since 2003. Whereas Nadal has lost, at least 10 matches on his favoured clay since 2005.So at this moment I do not buy others argument that Nadal is better than Federer. May be he has to win titles on other surfaces consistently to prove that he is better than Fedex. Nadal wins because of his athletism whereas Roger it is all grace. His game looks beautiful than Nadal's. Roger has won everything in world of tennis (including Olympic gold). Therefore lack of motivation may be attributed to the losses. These are not excuses. But facts of life.
