as an Indian in NZ this is why this tiny country of 4mn ( size of a C-category Indian City) is playing so well in SA: 1) No Politics in Sport. Sport is run by Sportemen. 2) No Corruption in New Zealand. A Ministers was recently was forced to return $500 for cgarging it on his Official credit card for a lunch with family!!(NZ is regularly ranked at No.1 in list of all countries by levels of corruption. India is at about rank 150!) 3) Schools encourage Sports ( no cramming pressure on kids) 4) Lots of grounds to play football.
It is strange why italy got the penalty. I see players pulling of their opponents shirts everytime and they won't get freekick or penalty. But Italians did argue like hell with the refree otherwise they would have gone down 0-1

Fifa really need to look at this whole diving thing, it is ruining the world cup. In 2006 Italy were being held 0 - 0 by Australia in injury time when they were awarded a penalty after one of their players took a deliberate dive. Italy went on to win the cup and Australia were out. Today Italy do it again to New Zealand. Fifa need to get serious about stamping this out. They need some sort of punishment based on post match video evidence. Something severe like disqualifying them from the match and awarding the points to the other team. A 12 month ban from playing soccer. Something that will eradicate this stupid act once and for all. Get serious FIFA, this makes me sick.
