Fabio Chapello says he doesnt recognise this English team of such low standards.. y nt? Too much media hype n lack of co'ordination(John Terry having a low morale like Tiger Woods...no need to mention the prelude). 1966 remains a history ...n by wht standards such an efficient and damn strict(Wayne once said he is scared tpo look in the eyes of Chapello and everything is official bout him) coach fail to motivate the boys???????????
fabio is trying to make england play italian football. its like asking india to go all out agressive against australia and forget cricket and start abusing them left right centre. exhausting for us and confusing for england. they should play the simple long ball game and kick and rush they play in EPL. big sam allardyce could have built a physical big bully england team that kicks the ball and goalie together into the net. rah! rah! football. they are trying to play sweet passing game when they cant pass accurately. sad. catennacio, capuccino, confusionacio.
I find it stupid when people who don't know about soccer pen a few lines about it. Many discussions are about playing for country and club. What you guys need to understand is when with a club- the players play almost 10 months together in a year in various tournaments. Each one knows the strength and weakness of their team mates very well. They know in a particular situation where would they find a team mate and pass accordingly. But these great club players don't find it easy with unknown team mates and/or opponenents when playing for the country. So there is sometimes a lack of cordination and team work which results in a dull encounter as it did during the England- Algeria Match. It was the same case with France 2 days back. Yes I am not offering an excuse and they are all paid fat amounts. But just don't blame anyone for not performing when it comes to country as compared to the club. A few other idiots commented on England being similar to our Indian cricket players. But you do not realise Indian IPL players play IPL for a month together and for most part of the year are playing for the country. So the complaint that they don't have the spirit, stands correct when it comes to Indian Cricket but not in case of Soccer World Cup 2010.

What you need to understand Einstein that all teams have players who play for clubs 10 months together. The good teams and good players still seem to thrive in both conditions. Zidane led France was so efficient controlling the ball. Brasil always is etc.
So Einstein when some people do ONLY well in the club league there is a problem which is pointed out. The club level is lower and the players are not that good as they and you seem to think.

yes very true....i think all the big teams of Europe lacks team work when it comes to play for nation....
doesnt this england team remind u of our cricketers. All super stars for their clubs but when it comes to playing for their country...they all are flops.
Capello dropping of Theo walcott backfires,Emile Heskey is very fat and cannot find pace whereas Including Theo walcott would have been gr8 as he scored hat-trick against Croatia away...but they way England team lacks fighting spirit like US & Greece, its better to dump out of tournament than playing boring football like France, let a good fighting team spirit win the worldcup.
England were never a serious threat to Algerians. Actually Algeria played much better in terms of ball posession, control, passing and run-ins. Only they could not finish well. I badly wanted the Algerians to score because they played good football.
England need to do some soul searching to lift their game. As usual they are over-rated. If they play this kind of football, they will not win the cup in another 50 yrs.
Sad to see this from the national side of a country that invented the game.
