Well,

Can I ask for a "Separate Podium/ Stage" for "Browns"?,..
What I'm saying is..It's not racist..

What I'm sayin' is it's fine,

Had I been in place of Gandhi in P'm'berg,
I would've simply abided by whatever rule that was,
I would have simply said "Yes Sire", & had gone my way..
That's the kind o attitude I 've..

I mean, if someone "up there" is administering a "system", why do'nt one simply abide or go with it?..
Had the English not been there, there would not've been any rail stations, either in India or in SA.. because neither of these had enough calibre in'em to do research in a laboratory, & set up factories to lay down railway lines..

I mean,..it's fine,

That's the kind o attitude I 've..

I never bring a revolution, but at the same time, being an "Old Guard" , I shal never allow dissolution of an Empire

O!! Thanks for batting for me. In that case it is all the more creditable for them to have to have reached the stars in three thousand years. The point is we Indians are more spiritual than worldly.

India national football team - 2

Since then India has never been able to qualify for the Olympics.

Indian football entered something of a golden age in 1951, a run that stretched until the 1960s. India won the 1951 and 1962 Asian Games Gold medal and reached the semi-finals in the next two Asian Games. The Indian team also set a new record in 1956 with their semi-final as it represented, at the time, the best performance by an Asian team in an Olympic football tournament.[4] The record stood until the 1968 tournament when Japan also reached the semi-finals before capturing the bronze medal that had eluded the Indian team.

More recent successes have been limited to the South Asian Football Federation Cup, the LG Cup won in Vietnam in 2002 under English coach Stephen Constantine, Nehru Cup in 2007 and 2009 and the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup under coach Bob Houghton, which earned them a place in the 2011 AFC Asian Cup to be held in Qatar.

[edit] Rivalry
India's traditional arch rivals are Pakistan national football team, due to the historic tension between the two nations, and even though India has consistently beaten Pakistan, they are often hard-fought matches. Another regional rival is Maldives national football team, who have had many well-balanced, thrilling matches with each other, and this rivalry is often seen as more competitive than the rivalry shared with Pakistan.

[edit] Kit
Nike, Inc is the kit provider to the national team, with Panasonic as sponsoring partner.

India national football team

The India national football team is the national football team of India and is controlled by the All India Football Federation. It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation, and a member of FIFA. In 1948, the AIFF was affiliated to FIFA, the international governing body for football. In 1954, AIFF became one of the founder members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
History
India qualified by default for the 1950 FIFA World Cup finals as a result of the withdrawal of all of their scheduled opponents. But the governing body AIFF decided against going to the World Cup, being unable to understand the importance of the event at that time. Reason shown by AIFF was that there was not enough practice time along with selection problems although FIFA agreed to bear a major part of the travel expenses.[1]

The myth is still there that Indian refused to play because they were not allowed to play barefoot but according to the then Indian Captain Shailen Manna, this was not the actual case and just a story to cover up the disastrous decision of the AIFF.[1] The team has never since come close to qualifying for the World Cup.[2] In the FIFA world cup 2010 qualifiers, India was eliminated in the first round by Lebanon.

India finished 4th in the football tournament at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics.[3] Later they qualified for 1960 Rome Olympics but failed to make any impact after losing to Peru and Hungary but managed an consolation 1-1 draw against France. Since then India
