We are lazy
by Prasad Damodaran on Jun 16, 2010 09:11 AM  | Hide replies

Brazil, Argentina and other South American countries were colonies of the Spanish, French and the British, they obviously took the hard game of soccer (football) into their culture and we as Indians ofcourse the lazy guys preferred playing the lazy men's game of Cricket even though the Britishers played great football.

Tell me in which field india is shining. Don't tell india doing well in
Software and IT. I know what kind of jobs these people are doing(High paid slaves as far as indian salary standard is considered). I just want to tell everybody that indian are not creative in their work. Our system itself is like that. There is no proper encouragement for creative work.

Mr Prasad,
India plays Football, but does not represent in the world cup, as we are not upto the other country standards.
You need to understand that Indians are not physically well built as their counterparts in south america or africa.Mainly because we are not a completely meat eating country, so all these go on to determine the physical ability of a human being.
There should be football matches only for vegetarians, then we shine.

I only mean to say that Indians are also human, but the humans at south america, africa and europe are much well built humans. We still excel in sports like chess, which show mental ability.

When it comes to cricket, we dont have pace bowlers like other countries have, but still we excel in certain departments of the game.

I like the first goal. A right footer hitting the ball with outer side of the feet so that ball deflect right wards in air to the goal. Had he hit the ball with inner left side the ball will never go to the goal.

First take a train to Jammu. Then become a terrorist. ISI will take you to Pakistan for training. Choose your first posting in Afghanistan. Become an informer to American Army. They will take you to US for training. They will give you US citizenship also. Once you become US citizen you can just take a flight to Brazil. They will give you visa on arrival for any duration of stay.

Do it fast, so that you can see Lucio bringing world cup there.

Sachin is not a great athlete but Usain Bolt, Michel Johnson, Carl Lewis coz they shined in olympics where more than 100 countries represented by their greatest athlets. Sachin can be considered as the greatest cricketer not an athlet.

Good to see so many footballers from Assam playing in big clubs. Bikas Narzary performed very well in the Kolkata league and I hope he comes to the first 11. Bilifung is already established. Durga didnot get much chance but he is very promissing. I wish Assam all the best in the Santosh Trophy

The North East region has always had a good football culture. India's best footballer currently Baichung Bhatia comes from that region. There are several good teams over there that need to be nurtured and helped in all ways. Maybe greats like Maradona, Ronaldo, Kaka, Messi, etc can be called up as consultants to help the process.
