Indians cannot run for 15 minutes. Forget about 90 minutes.

Mr Bala, you seem to forget that India is the country that produced athletes like Milkha Singh. In any outdoor sports you need stamina and not run for 15 minutes. England's Rooney hardly runs, but waits for oppurtunities in the opponent's box. Yet he is one of the topmost sought after footballers in the world. Your comment has no logic.

bala - a piece of GK... find the answer
It is not the 2nd oldest football competition in the worldas widely documented in the national media.
Started in 1988, it is probably the 3rd oldest continuous football Cup competition in the world, after the English FA Cup (1871) and the Scottish Cup (1874).
The English Football League began in the same year.
The FIFA World Cup was first played in Uruguay in 1930.

Bala could possibly be playing Gulli Danda where he need not have to run at all.

Some teams which are good still cannot control pressure situations just like Indian cricket team. For example,Denmark,Poland,Uruguay,Australia,Morocco, etc.

Today's suicide goal by Denmark was really hillarious...

sorry boss,
but these teams are the minnows without much world cup level talent
and please do not bring any reference to the Indian cricket team
if you are a cricket fan, please do not spoil soccer forums by posting messages relating cricket to football.

Football teams testing our patience!
by nisha thoas on Jun 14, 2010 07:57 PM  | Hide replies

Most of us in Blore have been disappointed with the quality of the cup so far. There was so much hype even in India, even though we are not playing. But almost all the matches have been dull, except maybe germanys. The pubs in blore that were showing world cup live had no takers after 30 minutes of watching during the weekends. All the few goals scored so far have been mainly own goals, penalties and tap ins. At this rate, all Indians are going to cheer India for Asia cup, instead of the much hyped world cup, which promised thrill a minute action

why should football be played by heading.

football should only be played with feet, no head no shoulder no chest no upper arm.

as of now the game is actually no hands ball, exceptions like madonna and henry
