Our football team is improving in the Asian level and the top team in south asia, but thats not enough, Football should be promoted in the school level... better grounds, better training and local matches.
but now many schools doesnt even have space for a good basketball ground.

Really pity to see us Indians calling ourselves "loosers"(am not agreeing or disagreeing). Very unfortunate as India has some of the best brains and there is a big pool of talent. I am sure with the right kind of attention and dedication(like our cricket), Football can be conquered by Indians as well!
I'm really surprised and aghast by the Government of India and Delhi govt in conducting Common wealth games. What is commonwealth. The colonies of Britain. Are you not ashamed to be part of some country that colonized India. Instead of such an organistation, India must have started and been part of the Free World which must be the countries that liberated themselves from Colonial rule and we must have had a Free world games instead of running around with Queens baton. It's a shame. I prefer to boycott the games for the same reason.

both boils down to the same list of countries. Either you count from front or rear, the number will be same.

I agree..I never understood the importance of Common Wealth Games...but in any case we would not win any medals..so it makes no difference while we would be spending 1000s crores in corruption and holding the games..

the name vicotria and the langauge english you adoted also the gift of colonial rule.the indians feel proud when the speak and study colonial langauge . our most popular game cricket which is known for all wrong reason of match fixing betting also a colonial gift.common wealth and olimpics are the symbol of past and it is the truth no need to feelashamed
where is the aussie way of aggression and playing. Yeah better they stick their agg and playing to cricket... since its played by medicore subcontinents

AUSSIES NEVER HAD BEEN A FORCE IN FOOTBALL veyr few like viduka and cahill play in leauges.if i am right this is the second time they enter in fianl round. but they are formidable not only in cricket,good in hockey tennis rugby basket ball ,golf aquatics
Though the score read 4:0 it was never a one side match. German's receiving, passing, and finishing were too good. It looked like Cahill's sending off affected Germans more than Aus.

Bala you must have been high on Coke or LSD while watching the match to think it was a close contest. Poor Aussies were whipped like Kutas by the mighty Germans only thing your dopehead could not fogure it out since you were high you poor Junkie

yes one of the only two match which found attractive .other was USA/England .foot ball has become more a body ball .this beauty full game slowly loosing its glamour due to power play .no dribbling ,no sensible passes it is all about pulling the shorts punching and pushing the opponent.there is a free kick in every few minutes .it is all about winning either by hook or crook .commercialisation is killing foot ball too. after the world cup with in one month major leagues will start .all players and coaches want to grab a a fat contract by pushing their national teams to lime light
