English goal keepers have always messed up !!!
by suryanarayan bhaskar on Jun 13, 2010 07:57 AM  | Hide replies

Somehow the English goalkeepers have always messed up.Shilton missed a simplle free kick from Brehme in the semifinal in 1990. Seaman miss judged a kkick from Ronaladinho in 2002. Now green missed a simple stop. They also fail to stop even a single penalty in shoot outs.

These englishmen are more showoff like our Indian cricket players. They feel they are best cause they play EPL, samething Indian players think they are best in T20 but they are not and it shown in every match in Zim even yesterday's T20 match where Ind were struggling at 43/4 and it was Pathan and Kohli who took us to victory or else one more set back. Same thing goes to these englishmen only hoo-hola. And, their run will end in 2nd round cause in first round they are in the weakest group.

Dear Observer, if you're literate person, which India needs the most then you never start abusing by saying "Circket crazy Dumbo" in your very frist reply. It shows ur culture and value towards other. If you see my very first message I never said anything wrong cause comparing two governing bodies/sports person/ similar cases is not called "dumbo" but skill, which is missing in you. And, if you think if those football playing nations or their citizens ve better discipline then you are a big m00roon I ve ever come across. These south americans and european are the most indiscipline civilastion in the world, and at present half the europe is struggling with debt crisis and south america with drugs and trafficking. Ha ha

I said in India we can go any forum to post our healthy comments cause it is called freedom of speech. Not like you an insane who starts abusing. Now, u need to learn who is dumbo

Hey mr. surya ...
who is the guy using the following abuse words: mor00n, idiot, shit, etc.
It is only YOU!
Then why are you crying about starting abuse!!!
I am not here to show my culture and neither are you!
Who gave you the weird idea that I am discussing / praising the discipline / civilization of soccer playing nations in South America / Europe???
Relax man ... we are here just for cheering soccer teams and relishing the beautiful game.
So who is going insane ... abusing without a reason ... and massaging his bruised ego by coming back to post hate messages on this forum??
I salute you surya das ...
God bless you ... and enlighten you!

Indians have this habit to say they are no.1 in world in every field & rest of worlds are fool.
Fact is we are not even in top 50 in all the fields whetrher its sports, education, innovation, development, law & order etc.
In football we are not ranked even in top 100, same is true in most of other aspect of life but if u ask indian he will give some tame excuse rather than accepting the fact that others are better than us

make belief and inferiority complex both not good.
China and India are growing but what we are doing today is following the western culture. The way worked lived in slums and suffered during England's industrial progress , chinese people at iphone factory are dying in factories.
India also progressing but the gap between rich and poor is increasing.
Our culture which established the first university in world(now called bihar) famous for only population control.
this is the truth we are evaluating ourselves using a system which is not ours.
we follow english games like cricket , we work for US companies.
no harm in being proud but the
but first learn to appreciate whats your own.
china and india are showing good GDP growth that is not the same as progress.
playing sport is a good for health physical and psychological but be it IPL or world or EPL it is just a media event. for some it is just a betting occasion , for some its just a discussion topic but for few and far between it is a sport where they appreciate the skill and ability of the players that participate in it.

Mr Raman, believe these inferiority complex is already started deminising slowly and steady. And, next 30 years is belongs to India and China in economy, power shift towards Asia. We can see samething where we are now with China in early 90s. But, the only hurdle is our govt. no matter who comes, all are giving an example of misusing people's wealth and power. that is why we are lacking behind in infrastructure.

To Mr. Ashish, about football that we are not in top 100, it is very much true. But truth is your individual interest, if you are not interested to give your child a fair opportunity to select his profession then no matter where we are, he won't get his justice. Same thing applies to football, we see in India at least next 20 years there is no scope of growth any other sports except cricket and that is the main reason we don't motivate ourself to give the best training to our child for something which we are not sure about it's future.

And, there is nothing wrong, if we like cricket it is our interest, nobody force us to love something which we don't. Like US, they don't follow football, cause they love their sports madly and proudly take it as AFL, baseball, basketball, ice hokey, golf or any field and track events. And, we should learn from them rather than abusing like the one person in this thread calling "cricket as dumbo fans" that only can happen in India only, where majority will be neglected and abused by a small minorit

Tim, even I supported USA today but please dont say US made the Englishside look pedestrian. In fact both side played some ordinary football, apart from the US goalie who was simply outstanding.
