The widely ranted Jabulani ball justified by Green although it appeared one of the most absurd fumble in football history!!

Its happen sumtimes nevertheless pull up ur socks for next games,Rooney has to strike it,and Heskey has to time it properly,Definately we miss Beckham he is the real timer of the Ball.

Beckham will be back in this very tournament; its english tactic to keep him on reserve til demanding time.

I agree. Even Capello (England coach had the same thing to say in an interview after the match.)

"Sometimes Forwards miss the target and sometimes Goalkeeper misses...Its the same."

Infact Rooney and Lampard missed the target and hit straight to the keeper few times in yesterday's match and no one really blame them. Poor Green!!

take the game as sport and not war. Take it in the right spirit of the game. Bast of luck to green in all other matches.

i think the guy deserves some respect...he saved england from goin 2-1 down later on though the ball hit the pole too..done just slam him for an error...i believe the strikers too should get a stick...heskey too missed a simple chance to score and so did the others...nobdy is bashin em...yyyy??

oh please, the guy deserves what he gets. The goal was a terrible one, school team goalkeepers would do better.
the save isnt much of a redemption either, it was shot staight at him and he bungled that one too, and he was clearly lucky tht it hit the pole and didnt go in.
the english are clearly in an easy pool, otherwise i woulnt imagine them getting any where with this sort of standard of play

In a game of sports these things are common. Have they not done the world cup in 1966 by sheer luck or was it cheating ?Perhaps this is the revenge of god.
