Yes, Koreans are willing to learn anything new in order to improve their country. In early '80s South Korea sent a team of sports loving people to India ( Batiala, Chandigar ) to learn the game 'Hockey'. After they returned to South Korea, they developed their youth with what they learnt about Hockey in India. Now, we are seeing the result, South Korea is the #1 Hockey team in Asia & one of Top 5 teams in the world. Same is true with their Football. In 2002 they hosted the FIFA Football Worldcup and they gone upto SemiFinal. They are always willing to learn and so they are developing. We(Indians) are always very proud about our past glory but NOT willing to learn good things from others and so we are NOT developing in any. This is the harsh/bitter truth about us.

ok,but u know one thing,we want more asian countries to defeat europenas,then only fifa will allocate more vaccancy for asian countris in 2014 WC.now only 4 (one playoff).then only we can imagine abt our country participating in WC.and another thing,when bhupati and paes plays in euope other asian communties encoraging them.when bhutia played in europen leageu ,asian community cheered him
Though we don't have our country India playing in this mega event, i felt very happy to see an Asian country beating a higher ranked European country. Korean defense was very solid. Greece strikes couldn't penetrate that defense. Good Luck to Korea.
Watched the full game on ITV in full HD on a 50inch TV. HD is amazing, and I dont need to pay for the game. As good as being there, the only diff is I didnt have to spend few thousand pounds on the trip to ZA. Good luck Korea, keep the Asian flag flying as far as you can go! We Indians always have a Slave Mentality, specially when it comes to British...if U can see with all eyes open U can figure it out...Mohammed Gandhi regarded British as His Master, divided India to please British. Animal Nehru followed same way, copied the Parliament System from them, and kept Lord Mountbattain in India after Independence, so that he can enjoy his wife. And Cricket, same thing dumb Desis R crazy for this stupid game...s o boring I really wonder how people can watch this kind of Sports. And look at Football, the entire World is crazy about this and it's more popular than the Olympics as we all wait anxiously for 4 years for this event. Being a Bangalee I love Football and very strongly believe one day India would be in The World Cup in my lifetime.

To Imsai and Sanatan, only onething I need to tell u visit ICC official website to get the details, so don't bark without knowing the truth. There are 95 countries ve been registered under ICC who have cricket teams, and playing divisional groups, from Brazil to Argentina, from China to Japan, from Portugal to Norway, check out dude, then get the reality. But they never come out from the divisional groups cause without proper facilities and support,and strategy like same thing in India for shootball. If you need aditional information, then I will provide you the link, even in cricinfo dot com , there u will get these divisions and will see at least 50 countries name who have participated from 3 to 5 divisions.. now, it is high time to know the fact b4 u comment on any thing and every thing.

Thanraj bhai, I nvr deny nor I under estimate any sports. It is individual interest who likes what. U may like soccer, I may not like. My fav is cricket followed by Tennis and F1. But, don't say fools are watching cricket. Cause if a person thinks others are fools, u must be sure that the person who thinks this, is the biggest fool on the planet.
