Well,our country only has a BCCI club team without national pride and without self respect.They are not interested to win a gold in Asiad and stand on the podium.

Who the hell told u that there are not beautiful women than Aishwarya Rai in India itself, leave alone the world ? Stupid people like u who are fed on a diet of media hype. And do u know even the meaning of an athlete when u talk of Sachin ? He may be an all time great cricketer, but still not Don Bradman. Ditto with Amitabh..he is a star, who has good acting skills. But to call him the God of actin, is stretching things a bit too far. Do u know how many mimics and artist are there in theatre who perform live and even better than Amitabh does ? As far as Ash Rai goes, the little said the better. A very naive and aritificial women, who is only after money and fame. The kind of answers these people give in beauty pagents, even a high school girl from a convent can give better. Even her catwalks will be done by anyone. And looks...its just media hype more than anything else. There are plenty of women who look more charming and beautiful than the hyped Ash Rai, and are better persons too than her. So stop this blind adulation for media hyped stars...

Sachin is god because you do not worship god. Who knows them outside these 9 countries. In USA no one knows who is sachin or rai, even in gulf and many asian countries no one knows them. Ask anyone who is Drogba and the whole world knows. That is called GOD and not the God who is worship in 8 countries and that also half of india are biased as to which state or which religion he or she belongs to. India is a country good for corrupt people and people who bribe.
We should do what we like not what OTHERs do. If Indians like cricket, let us play cricket. We don't have do the 'follow the leader' in soccer. We are king in Cricket and play ONLY IPL (s c r e w the rest of the world.)

Whether you like it or not India is a major player in the cricket space.
Do what you like and you will excel. If you want to do just because others are doing then it will not work.
We Indians enjoy/like cricket and let us go with that.
IPL is enough (we don't have to worry about rest of the world. S c rew them)....
Instead of blaming our football payers, lets support them. we have good players who cannot even make it to the national team. We need better sponsors for practice matches, training camps and to promote the game, no political involvement in team selection and better media coverage and support. If we get this I bet we will at least qualify for 2018 world cup matches.

Football will become popular in India only when we all stop hero worship of our Cricketers and Cinema Heroes... India was once a team to re-cone in Asian level and have one silver medal in Asian cup and even qualified for world cup and later disqualified due to players not wearing shoes while playing!!!

No doubt, Sachin is a living legend of cricket. But the words god and religion were introduced by media. In fact media made cricket so much popular in India.
