This team is famous for its so called oprganisation, and there is not a single player in the present team who can be called a star, unlike england,spain or brazil where the names rooney,kaka,torres comes to mind. I hope for the sake of entertainment, the germans are knocked out in the 1st round. Who wants to see boring 1-0 matches anyway??

Many people probably don't know the likes of muller, gomez, schweinsteiger, klose, lahm(probably the best in the world in his position) because they don't play in english or spanish league. But all of them are very good players. Secondly post klinsman era, the german team is playing quite attacking football a glimpse of which we had seen in 2006 WC.

They are probably not a very exiting team, but they do have considerable talent. Bubdeslega teams and players doesn't get as much publicity as EPL or La Liga, but they are good, as proved by Bayern Munich in the champions League. Compare their world cup record with that of England or Spain, you don;t get consistent success at highest level without having a great team.

German Team is the best team in the world when it comes to passing and team game....on yheir day they have the firepower to overpower any footballing force let alone conquering the world cup...just wanna wait and see the magic as it unfolds in the next few weeks @south africa.!!!!watch out for sami khedira and ozil!!!!They'll surprise

well this is an understatement. Germans are known for their consistancy. 3 wins 4 second places 3 semi finals. Their record is second to Brazilians. Talking about stars, German stars do not get publicity as Bundesliga is a closely held competetion unlike Laliga, Serie A and EPL. Most of them play in Germany only. Ballak is an exception and unfortunately is an odd man for this WC.
