Roger never plays in Queen's Club. Gerry Weber Open is his traditional warm up for Wimbledon. He is in third round and will play Falla whom he beat in French Open.

Federer Fans, why do you want a Rafa-Roger final ? Dont you want Roger to lift the trophy ? Nadal's learning days at Wimbledon are over, he knows how to beat Roger there. So if you want Roger to win, you should actually pray he never faces Nadal.

Federer has been there and done it.............. 16 Grandslam titles, 23 consecutive grandslam semis, won 25 consecutive finals that he entered........ well there is nothing left for Federer to prove. Nadal has to do all the running and remove the tag that he is a clay court specialist (27 out of 39 tournament victories on clay, 12 out of 18 masters on clay, 5 out of 7 grandslams on clay and his H2H against Federer appears so good only because of 10-2 on clay). Let Nadal learn to win more on other surfaces on a regular basis (remember he has not even entered US Open finals even once and only once reached Australian Open finals). It is not enough if you beat Federer, you have to win grandslams on a more regular basis on all surfaces to be compared with Federer and other all time greats!

Stop using that Clay Court excuse for be-littling Nadal. Federer has been a great tennis player alright. For long, he dominated players who were ready to accept his greatness and succumb to it. Rafa doesnt care. He respects Roger's greatness but all that is left outside the court and Roger is like another player once the Referee says "TIME".

But why don't Nadal make to every semi final or final like Fedex then? Playing 23 semifinals and 21 finals out of them on trot is something special, isn't it? while Nadal, as Vasu said couldn't even make it to a US final yet after been played for years now!
Even Federer accepted his brilliance on clay that he's not a favorite but Nadal! But outside clay, Federer is always a favorite!

Mr.Sagar: Clay court is not an excuse, but a fact, whether you like it or not. Yes, it is difficult to digest. Remember, French Open has always been won only by clay court specialists, most of them Spaniards and Swedish and a certain Lendl of Czech (but a US citizen), Jim Courier (again a clay court specialist from US). The only non-clay court specialists who have won this in the last 3 decades are Agassi and Federer.

Well said Vasu! It'll be nice to see how long can Nadal play with his power game! Federer has class in him but Nadal's game is completely a power game. As long he has that power in him, he's wining! That's why federer never missed a grand slam due to injury, hardly missed a tour because of unfitness! Look at Nadal who in his prime form is going through injuries!

Some Mental Edge ?? !! Nadal is like a virus in Roger's head and Roger is yet to find an anti-virus for that. This time it will be a straight sets victory for Rafa if they meet again in the finals. And I am saying this with all due respect to the player that Roger is.

Re: Re: Re: Re: To Federer Fans

It is not Nadal mania. Nadal is the best on Clay and he has an edge over everyone, inlcuding Federer on clay. It is an accepted fact. Other than clay, Nadal has entered three wimbledon finals and lost twice to Federer and beat him once and one Australian finals which he won. Nadal won his first grandslam in 2005 (French Open). After the 2005 French open, 20 grandslam tournaments have been held (including 5 on Clay) and Federer has entered 18 of the finals (he missed out on one Australian Open finals when he lost to Djokovic in the Semis and this year's French Open). During the same period Nadal has entered just 8 finals, 4 of them on clay. Remember, you have to be better than 127 others to reach the finals, which Federer has done 18 times, Nadal mania or no Nadal mania. So, I repeat, it is not enough if Nadal beats Federer everytime he meets him - he has to be better than 127 others to win and Federer has done than more consistently than anyone else in the history of the game as on date. I am sure there should be no more argument on who is the greatest and Nadal has a lot of catching up to do!

Vasu Federer is a great grass court player and Nadal a great clay court player. But you should accept the fact that it is only Nadal who has beaten federer on Grass.ie at Wimbledon. But until now federer hasn't even came near to nadal on french open.every time nadal thrashes federer in straight sets. But in wimbledon federer beat nadal in 5 sets and he even conquered Federer in wimbledon which simply underlines the fact if there is any one player whom federer fears it is Our king Nadal!

Mr.Manjesh, you are again showing your lack of tennis knowledge by saying `Nadal has beaten Federer on grass' etc. Remember, next to Borg, Nadal is best on clay. The only player who beat Borg on French Clay is Panatta of Italy (he beat him twice and Panatta is again a clay court specialist). Federer is not a clay court specialist (in spite of 4 consecutive French finals). Occasionally clay court specialists play well on grass, mainly because wimbledon grass has slowed down a lot (more so now than even during the Borg era). If you have seen, even Nadal has said recently that he wants a shorter hardcourt season - why? Because he is more comfortable on clay and grass and has chances of winning more. Nadal thrashing Federer? Even Federer has a 6-0 set against Nadal on clay at Hamburg in 2007 and once in the Wimbledon finals. That is part of the game and Nadal has also lost a number of 6-0 sets on other surfaces to others also. You are simply skirting the overall performance on all surfaces where Federer is miles ahead of Nadal, which I have proved through statistics in my postings. Just do not harp on the H2H alone. 128 players start in the grandslams and only one wins. Federer has done it on more occasions than Nadal in 2000-09 decade and he is the best of the decade. Let us see how Nadal fares in the coming decade before terming him greater than Federer!
