Isn't football played with 11 players? How come only 10 are chosen? How come we have 5 strikers, 2 midfielders, 1 winger, 1 goalkeeper and only one defender? To conclude, this "Dream Team" must have been chosen by EPL loving folks (will they ever come out of their well and realise that Football played in Spain or even in Italy is as good, if not better, than in EPL?).

everything u said is right except that the team is from epl.....as kaka,fabiano,neuer etc are all from outside..........as for lennon???? I dont know why he desrerves a place.

If u read the article carefully, u will notice that the list of 10 players doesn't include Christiano Roanaldo's name. The list says "Rest of the 10 players"
EPL is the best league in the world, and the teams even in the bottom are full of rough tacklers. Inspite,rooney still scoreed 25 plus. Messi scores mainly against weak spanish sides, and hes called a genius. He did nothing when faced against chelsea and inter this year, when defences are strong, which means a flat track bully. Rooney can score against any defence, and his workrate is far higher than anyone, maybe except ronaldo.

Its seems that this survey is done by british media ably supported by our own media. Can u even compare Rooney to Ronaldo forget about Messy. Rooney do not stand in first 25 top footballers in the world. Typical British
No Defenders,no holding midfielders...5 forwards and 3 attacking midfielders...This is gonna one of d worst team...only a football-neandarthal could've chosen this...

Yes ! But fortunate for England that it'll come out of its easy group only to get thrashed in the next round.
England likes Rooney sooooooo much. They often compare with Ronaldo saying that he is better than Ronny. The assists the transformation that Ronny brings to a team is far ahead than what Rooney brings. Rooney needs to be fed with balls, he has no creativity nothing.

Demichelis is defender playing for bayern..but your observation is correct. This is like nomination list of best players..not a playing XI.

Drogba 29 goals, 1 penalty, 2 goals against arsenal, 1 against MANU and 0 against liverpool
Forget about world who is the best striker in EPL. Judge yourself.
