you shouldn't forget sampras won his final us open at the age 32 after which he retired... agassi played for some 20yrs upto 35yrs age. so its early to consider RF's legacy is nearing end. RF still has some 4yrs still to go.

We can say it because he still reached till QF. You can never ignore Federer in GS because his game doesn't depend on physical fitness. I hope he will play good till 32 age. I also believe he will reach QF of every GS but not sure about his victory.

rain plays spoilsport
by x on Jun 03, 2010 09:49 AM

roger won the first set easily and then the rain interruption.. breaking rf's momentum.. again another rain interruption and sodeling made the best use of it. he became energised and of course some coach's advice during the breaks. rf has definitely blamed the weather and the same time doesnt forget to praise his opponent also.

can you justify your answer how rain can help opponent..Opponent is also a player.. same conditions for both players.. Just because he lost matches, it doesnt mean opponents are not good.. Dont over hype it. Fed is just a player not that great.. there are greatest players like Connors, Lendl, Nadal.. :-)

And What a Gain for Rafa! As a great fan of RF, I must admit that : times'- they are achanging.. If no Rafa, Soderling will get you. Checkmates continue for good old RF..

Actually now only problem for Nadal, If federer come in final it is very easy for nadal to become champion, but againt soderling is not at all possible.

Real champion
by Joel martins on Jun 02, 2010 04:27 PM  | Hide replies

He and Mr. Nadal are the real champions. They are always gracious in defeat. They respect their opponents. And more importantly they are down to earth inspite of being superstars. They laugh when they win and cry when they loose like a common man. Many readers may not be aware, they actively participate in noble causes especially in Africa. Hats off to you guys.

As many of u over here, I am also a die-hard fan of RF. But yesterday soderling was much superior to RF in all depts. Nice match, which I watched till the end. Looking at the match my heart was saying RF wud win but mind was saying the other way round. A very good match anyways. Hope we will have a damn good final betn Rafa and Soderling. All the Best.
